We had the pleasure of taking Annika and Saben for the day. Kim called with a great invitation to go to denny creek with them! We gathered up the kids (after feeding, changing, sun-screening, etc) and headed out. Saben did a great job hiking - he even found a walking stick for himself! Annika was very happy in the backpack and didn't make a peep...just enjoyed the ride. Hooray! It was a success (though very tiring). Annika fell asleep on the way home and I got to zone out a bit while Saben asked questions like "how long till we get home?" and "why?".
